This school project was created in Macromedia Director and Adobe Photoshop. This quarter-long assignment was to create an interactive .exe program that could be downloaded onto the user's computer. The subject of the project was at the students' discretion. The program had to contain audio/video, an animation portion (the title animates upon load), and a means to close the program.
The subject of the project was inspired by the release of Darren Hayes' latest album, The Tension and The Spark. After obtaining permission from his representatives, I proceeded to make an interactive program I that envisioned might be included on “Special Edition” or promotional CD's. Since his label is Sony Music, I used an old Sony remote as the navigation interface which directs the user through information on the album and the artist.
